Grade 2 Assignments A Jungle Song - by Banele Ngema, Racquel Nosworthy, Xolani Mkhwanazi and Brendon Reddan The jungle is so marvelous, With all creatures great and small. Monkeys swing from tree to tree, Toucans singing tweet - tweet - tweet. The jungle is green and beautiful.
Tiger Poem - by Stacey Peel He glares at the visitors walking by, with golden eyes - nice and bright.
Sports Day - by Zuziwe Malinga Yesterday it was Sports day. I liked the part when we did the dressing up race. Buhle looked funny and Jacques' skirt fell off. I ran fast in the first race, but it was very hot. I liked it best when we took the trophy. It was fun.
News - by Soe Thinzar Han Last night it was our production. I felt excited as I dressed into my costume. My costume was black with a zulu skirt and jewellery. My favourite show was when Tivonese danced by herself. When it was our turn to dance, I was so excited that I forgot to sing and dance. My mother puts lots of eye shadow on me that my eyelids looked dark. I had a lovely day.
Tiger Poem - by Nothando Mtimkulu The tiger looks up in the sky and it's eyes go red. It frightens me.
News - by Danielle Le Brasse Yesterday it was our Sports day. I felt so nervous. When it was my first race and Mrs. Murrell blew the whistle I was coming first, but I slowed down. Then I did the scarecrow race. I think Springbok came first in that race. Impala came first, Springbok came second and Kudu came third.
