Grade 3 Assignments Crazy House - by Kennedy Okeyo This crazy house is a complete mess. First thing, the carpet shouldn't be on the roof and the steel should be in the foundations. About that carpet, it is supposed to be inside and that bathroom that is outside should be inside. Those windows shouldn't be made of wire. I suggest you make proper windows. That chimney should be in the middle. Actually they should get a proper architect to design this house. The Life Cycle of Water - by Nqobile Lombo Hello my name is Droplet. I was born in the sea. I would jump around, talk to other fish and help animals in the sea. It was a lot of fun. Helping is fun. One day I was jumping so high that I could touch a cloud. I went on the cloud. I saw many drops just like me. Oh no, the cloud was getting heavy. So I decided not to rain but to snow. I turned into a block. One nice soft block. Then I landed in Canada. It was nice falling down. People were playing with me. It was the best day of my life. Then came summer. Do you know what? I turned into a drop again. I ran and ran as fast as I could until I saw a big door. I got inside the bathroom. I saw the bath ran into the sewage until I got to the river. From the river to the lake. From the lake into the sea. Guess what? I saw my friends again. And now I am big. The Lemon - by Nonthutuko Shandu When I looked at the lemon I saw that it was oval but if you looked at it the other way, it would have been totally round. It was bumpy. The skin felt smooth but others felt rough. The juice of the lemon was sour and tasty. It made my tongue fizzle and sizzle because it was sour. A Crazy House - by Evan McColl If I had a house I would not make the roof out of a carpet because the rain will come in. I will not have steel walls because it will rust and attract the heat and will make clinking sounds. The door would not be strong if it was made from grass and I will not make the windows from wire because the wind and rain will come through. I would have a wooden door, glass windows and tiles for a roof. I will make my house from bricks. The Tree I'd like to be - by Zuzile Kubheka Once upon a time when a little boy was eating an apple ... he threw the seeds. He didn't know that a tree would grow. After a year past guess what... he found a big apple tree standing up proud and that was me. That's how I started a new life. Oh how I loved it when the children used to climb on me and pick the apples off my tree. Sometimes they make purity out of my apples. One day when I woke up there was a tree house. Everyday the children would come and tell secrets. After two years I had to be cut to make a bigger house and that's how I got chopped down. The Life Cycle of Water - by Brandon Adams Hi, my name is Droplet. I'm going to show you the way through the water cycle. First I evaporate from the sea into the clouds and then the clouds get heavy. Then I burst out as rain. Then I go into a river and end up back in the sea. Oh ...oh ... here I go ... up, up and away. I am getting pulled by the sun (evaporating) to form a cloud. As the cloud gets heavy I move along to the mountains and here I go .... to form a river, and I'm back in the sea.
