Grade 4 Assignments Vashenka Naidoo - The Glistening Fire Flame The glistening blue and yellow shining in the nights sky. Let the lights go out and watch the blue and orange on it's journey through the night's sky. Watch the orange of the sun. It makes you feel warm. The blue that cools you down, the yellow that looks like gold from millions of years ago. The orange red of the sunset that makes you relax. It's the most magnificent sight with wonders of it's own. It can spread through the world if you let it go. It makes a dark day bright. It's sparkles make you happy if you're feeling sad. It lights the world forever and ever. It makes a frightened child happy again to see the light. When it's out you feel so sad that you want it back again. Priyanka Govender - The Flame of the Dark The sparkle of the dark, the glow of the candle, the shine of the midnight moon. The glow all around. It makes the world light up in the colour of love. Orangy, yellowish light in the dark, shines like sparkling oranges. Just a little light in the dark can change the colour to an orangy black. Just sitting in the dark ... and here appears the shine of a midnight moon. The yellowish flame brings us the love and joy of the night. The dance of the wick and the shake of the flame makes you want to move with the flame. Zanele Mdleko - Who am I? This teacher has short, grey hair. She likes wearing sunglasses and she is a bit short. When she shouts, she blows smoke out of her nose. She bursts fire out of her mouth and blows purple smoke out of her ears. She is a funny teacher too. When we tell a tale, she has a tail on her board and she will put it on us. When we get something wrong she says, "Good night chollie," and when we say something stupid she says, "Call the fire brigade."
