Every 7am our empty school echoed to the noise of the swimming squad diving into the water and powering across a turbulent pool in various energy sapping and muscles numbing exercises. I was impressed with the keenness and effort the whole squad made to improve their personal times and to get fit.

Senior Primary Gala

The annual Inter House Gala was thoroughly enjoyed and it was ultimately won by a jubilant Springbok House in a close run affair.

A school team participated at the annual Inter School Gala at Kings Park and achieved most creditable results. I was pleased with the discipline and commitment the swimmers put into their training.

It was a boiling hot day on Friday 23rd March when our swimming gala was held. The children were really thankful to take a refreshing "dip" into the pool. The fun races were most enjoyed by the little swimmers and these included the underwater retrieval and dressing up races...(which made some kiddies really tangled up.)

The Grade 0's looked so adorable performing the bunny hop race and the stronger swimmers were impressive with the kicker boards. The cool, blue water was enticing in the heat as the little ones shone out and showed their strengths.

To end the day on a refreshing note, the children were treated to ice-lollies. The winning house was Impala. A proud Karl Hollander was Victor Ludorum and an ecstatic Katelyn Anthony was Victrix Ludorum.
